Srinagar: A semi-decomposed body was found along a river bank in Thandapani in Sunderbani in Rajouri district this morning, officials said.
As per the News Agency Current News of India (CNI) that the body was sighted by some passersby this morning, following which they informed the Police.
Soon after a police team reached the site and took the body into its possession.
Confirming the recovery of the body, SHO Sunderbani Rajesh Jasrotia told Current News of India (CNI) that they have shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
“Once the identity is ascertained, we’ll convey it accordingly”, the official added. (CNI) Current News of India
