Srinagar, 20 April: (CNI) Traffic Police conducted a special drive in Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday to curb overloading by commercial vehicles

 

The SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh along with DySP Traffic Pulwama- Shopian conducted a targeted enforcement drive in Tral Town of Pulwama.

In an effort to improve road safety,

 

The initiative focused on educating drivers, issuing fines for violations, and promoting responsible traffic management.

 

The SSP emphasized the importance of parental responsibility in ensuring young drivers operate vehicles safely and lawfully.

 

They challaned and seized vehicles found carrying passengers beyond the permissible limit.

The drive, which began in the morning, targeted all rural districts of Kashmir.

 

SSP Traffic Rural Traffic Ravinder Pal Singh urged commuters to report overloading violations to traffic authorities.

He emphasized that overloading is a major cause of traffic accidents.

 

He urged parents to refrain from allowing inexperienced drivers to operate vehicles, especially those with a propensity for reckless driving.

 

Locals appreciated the SSP Traffic Rural R P Singh’s and traffic police’s efforts to ensure road safety in the valley.(CNI)
