Srinagar : The J&K Government has revoked a ban imposed on five doctors who were being allegedly found indulging in luring of patients from public hospitals to private health facilities for availing of treatments, and warned them to not replicate the practice in future.
According to the News Agency Current News of India (CNI) an order in this regard reads, “On the recommendations of the Enquiry Committee constituted vide Government Order No. 610-JK(HME) of 2022 dated 11.08.2022, which has been accepted by the competent authority, its, hereby, ordered that the ban imposed by the Department vide Government Order No. 611- JK(HME) of 2022 dated 11.08.2022 in respect of 05 doctors namely Dr. Tufail Ahmad Lone, Dr. Noorudin Shah, Dr. Mudasir Shahdhar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad and Dr. Ishaq Ahmad Parrah is revoked with immediate effect.”
The Director, Health Services, Kashmir shall call upon explanations from the BMOs of Pattan, Magam and Tangmarg for failing to operationalize the unused OTs in the interest of patient care. The reports in this regard be furnished with specific recommendations within a period of 15 days,” reads the order.(CNI) Current News of India
