Srinagar, Oct 17, In an unfortunate incident reported from Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district, thieves managed to loot gold ornaments worth an estimated 15 Lakhs from a residential house.

Sources told that the residential house belonged to Mohd Shafi Wani and Manzoor Ahmad Wani, sons of Ghulam Rasool of Katoo Bijbhera. The thieves took advantage of their absence and successfully executed the crime, making away with the significant haul of gold ornaments.

In this regard, Police have taken the Cognizance and investigation has been launched and further investigation has been initiated.
