Subject: Urgent Appeal for Inclusion of two Displaced Kashmiri Pandit Representatives in Delegations Sent Abroad Post Operation Sindoor to Expose Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorism.
Hournrable sir,
We, the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community victim of Pakistan sponsored terrorism, submit this heartfelt and urgent appeal in the backdrop of the Government of India’s commendable decision to send high-level delegations abroad after the launch of Operation Sindoor, aimed at exposing Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and its devastating impact, especially in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sir, at the outset, we express our deepest appreciation for this decisive and visionary initiative under your dynamic leadership. It is both a strategic necessity and a powerful diplomatic endeavor to unmask the real face of Pakistan before the global community.
However, we victim Kashmiri Pandits feel deeply disheartened to note that the most direct, devastated, and long-suffering victims of this terrorism, we the displaced Kashmiri Pandits, have been ignored and excluded from these delegations.
Sir, may we humbly remind the Hon’ble leadership that our community has borne the brunt of Pakistan-fuelled terrorism for over three decades, through genocidal attacks, gruesome target killings, loot, arson, ethnic cleansing, and a harrowing exile from our Kashyap Bhoomi. Despite this unprecedented trauma, we remained always peace and never strayed from the ideals of democracy and national unity. We remained rooted in India’s constitutional fabric, resilient in our silence, and dignified in our suffering.
Sir, it is, therefore, both logical and imperative that at least two credible representatives from the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community be included in the delegations being sent abroad as their presence would not only enrich and strengthen India’s moral argument but also present an irrefutable, firsthand, and humanized testimony of the monstrous terror campaign launched from across the border.
Sir, the pain, the displacement, the longing, and the courage of the Kashmiri Pandits must be heard not only within our own country but also in the corridors of international diplomacy.
So, therefore most we urge your good self to immediately reconsider our request by ensuring adequate representation of our victim Kashmiri Pandit community in the said international delegations. This gesture will not only enhance India’s diplomatic outreach but also reaffirm to our community that our sacrifices are neither forgotten nor marginalized.
Sir, we hope that justice would be done through our meaningful participation in these Delegations..
“With profound hope and respectful regards,”
Yours sincerely,
[ Kundan Kashmiri]
