The National Centre for Seismology reported on Tuesday that two earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.6 and 6.2 rattled Nepal at intervals of 25 minutes, with severe tremors spreading to regions of north India and Delhi-NCR.
An official reported that at 2:25 pm, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake with a 10-kilometer depth struck Nepal. At 2:51 PM, a larger earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 rattled the Himalayan nation.
After the second earthquake, people in Delhi and the National Capital Region reported feeling intense tremors and hurried out of their offices and high-rise structures.
