Srinagar, 16 April (CNI): Two traffic police officials were placed under suspension after a video, in which they were seen allegedly indulging in unprofessional conduct while dispensing their duties, went viral on social media on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said a video was doing rounds on various social media platforms video wherein a traffic police cop posted in Traffic Rural Kashmir is allegedly seen to be indulging in unprofessional conduct.
“Taking a serious view of the incident, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir ordered a preliminary enquiry and the enquiry reveals gross misconduct on the part of involved traffic personnel and his supervisory official.”
“Both the officials have been placed under suspension and attached with Traffic Police Lines Rural Kashmir, further, a departmental enquiry has been initiated against them.”(CNI)
