As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the programme was today conducted at Town Hall Shopian, amid a warm welcome by the locals Members.
During the camps held at Town hall the officers of the line departments underscored the importance of bringing Government schemes closer to communities, igniting a spirit of development and reaching the unreached beneficiaries.
During the day, several sports events and cultural programmes were presented by the students who participated in the Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm through songs, dances and skits thereby fostering a sense of unity and celebration of heritage.
Visiting officer Tariq Ali commended the District Administration for their exemplary work and stressed the objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme,Reaching the unreached and transparently communicating the undertaken initiatives are fulfilled during this programme.
The people were made aware of the Government and centrally sponsored schemes which include, PM Awas Youjna, PM Kisan, KCC, Ujjwala, Umeed, PM Garib Kalyan, etc. meant for the overall benefit of the general public.CNI
