Moderate to heavy snowfall likely over higher reaches of J&K during next 36-48hrs while moderate rain /snow over plains of Jammu and Kashmir during same period.

Heavy snowfall is also possible over Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Doodhpatri, Sonamarg, Peer ki Gali, Sinthan Pass , higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora, Kulgam , Anantnag & Ganderbal during next 48 hrs .

During next 48 hrs Kashmir Plains may receive moderate rain showers along with Snowfall including Srinagar City , Jammu division also receive light to moderate rain showers along with Snowfall over Upper reaches.

Another Western disturbance are forecasted from 03 February.
