Why Article 370 remained unresolved (temporary) till its last breath: Ishfaq Jabba

 

 

 

 

Srinagar : To boost its political activities and public outreach campaign, Jammu Kashmir United Movement held a workers meet at Shalteng in Srinagar district today.

 

According to a press release, While addressing the convention, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar urged people to support JKUM Party so that it can implement its pro-people agenda to ensure a brighter future for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Jabbar said power hungry political parties are once again trying to befool public by raising exploitive slogans .

 

He said these political parties have repeatedly betrayed the people and played with their sentiments for last 70 years to remain in power and “appease their bosses at the centre.

 

Jabbar further said, “Why Article 370 remained unresolved (temporary) till its last breath. Why they left it unattended in their times? If National Conference (NC) is responsible for weakening Article 370, similarly Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is equally responsible for their wrongdoings it committed with the special status in their times. They all played emotional politics on it and made people fool enough,” he said.

 

He said, “As the parliamentary elections draw near, it becomes imperative for us to actively engage with the public, ensuring that they are well-informed about our agenda and policies.

 

“I strongly urge you to intensify your political and public outreach endeavours, fostering a continuous connection with the people, he added.”

 

Later Ishfaq Jabbar visited Paribal Shallabugh, Khalmulla, Bakshipora and other areas for condolences.

 

Enroute he listens the greivances of people and assured redressal.

 

Sheikh Ishfaq was accompanied by Working district president Ganderbal Sheikh Gh Ahmad Saloora, Senior Leader Moulvi Mohd Yousuf, Ab Hamid Bhat, Showkat Ahmad Najar, Muzaffer Ahmad, Ab Rashid and others.CNI
