Kupwara, Sept 30 (CNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said to have arrested a woman drug peddler and recovering from her possession of the contraband substance in Lalpora Lolab of Kupwara district.

“Continuing with its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested a drug peddler at Doban lolab and recovered contraband substances from his possession”, reads a statement, issued to Kashmir Glory.

“A police party of Police Station Lalpora headed by SHO Police Station Lalpora Inspector Malik Nasir along with DO Kuligam PSI Azhar Shakeel under the supervision of SDPO Lolab Sarfraz Bashir, on receipt of reliable information apprehended a woman (name withheld) and recovered from her possession 300 gms of charas-like substance”, reads the statement.

“A case vide FIR No.79/2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Lalpora and investigation has been taken up” (CNI) Current News of India
