Srinagar : A woman and her minor son were injured in a road accident in Shopian district on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports reaching news agency Current News of India (CNI) said that an accident took place between an Eco Sports Vehicle with a Load Carrier vehicle, during which a woman and her minor son sustained injuries.

The injured have been identified as Iram Syed (35) wife of Mohammad Altaf Dar and her daughter Azeem Altaf (9), of Wanagam Shopian.

Both of them have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. (CNI) Current News of India
