New Delhi, CNI: The Delhi High Court is currently hearing a plea from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) seeking the death penalty for Yasin Malik, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader. The case is being presided over by a bench comprising Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Girish Katpalia.

During the proceedings, Malik, appearing via video conference, informed the court that he would represent himself and did not require legal counseling. Malik’s decision to argue his case personally has drawn significant attention, adding another layer of complexity to this high-profile case. The hearing continues as the court considers the arguments presented. CNI
