Kupwara, 08 May (CNI): A person was killed, and two other sustain injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in skidded of the road and rolled down at Nachiyan Top in Karnah area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday afternoon.
Official sources told News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that a
man identified as Mohammad Rafiq S/O Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Tadd Karnah died on spot, while as Shakoor Ahmad S/O Kalam Din, a resident of Draggad and Mohammad Ramzan S/O Abdul Jabbar of Handwara sustain injuries after an alto car they were traveling in skidded of the road and rolled down into a gorge a Nachiyan top karnah.
The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident. (CNI)
