Srinagar, 30 May (CNI): At least, 10 people died on the spot after a vehicle in which they were travelling skids off the road and fell into deep gorge in Jhajjar Kotli area in Jammu district on Tuesday morning.
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that at least 10 people die and 55 other sustain injuries after a vehicle, in which they were travelling in fell into gorge near Jhajjar Kotli Jammu.
Soon after the police reached to the spot and started rescue operation to shift the injured persons to nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
The senior superintendent of police Jammu said that 10 people died and around 55 are injured, have been evacuated,Rescue operation is almost complete and SDRF team is also present on the spot.
The bus was carrying more passengers than the prescribed limit and will be probed during the probe, he added. (CNI)
