Bandipora, Apr 11:- Indian army along with locals on Thursday celebrated Eid-ul-fitr performed offering eid prayers on Rana post in border village of Gurez valley near line of control (LOC) area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Army along with childrens,elders and young people early in the morning have gathered in army’s rana post for prayers and pray for peace in the country and world.
The melodious recitation of the Quran and the heartfelt sermons resonated in the air, creating an atmosphere of spirituality and unity.
As the prayers concluded, the army and people exchanged warm embraces, spreading the message of love and harmony.
The valley of Gurez is cut off from the rest of world for more than 5 months a year due to harsh winters and heavy snowfall in the area, testifying to the deep interdependence between the military and the local people.
The celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr in Gurez Valley by the Indian Army and local residents strengthens the bond between the two communities in the region.
It exemplifies religious tolerance and fosters a sense of peace and cooperation.
