Police on Sunday said that it has arrested two tractor drivers & seized 2 tractors involved in illegal excavation & transportation of minerals in Nallah-i-Ferozpora at Tangmarg area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the statement issued here to News-agency Current News of India (CNI) Police under the supervision of Sh Imtiaz Ahmed-JKPS SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr Tawseef Habib SHO PS Tangmarg seized 2 Tractors and arrested 2 drivers namely Abdul Rashid Dar S/O Late Abdul Gani Dar & Arshed Ahmad War S/O Fayaz Ahmad War both residents of Fajipora Tangmarg at Ferozpora Nallah Tangmarg at who were found involved in illegal excavation/ transportation of minerals.
Case FIR under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigation set in motion.(CNI)
