September 18, 2023, CNI News Srinagar: 29 Bn, CRPF, Srinagar has always been a front runner in providing a helping hand to the civil population. Taking forward this tradition, 29 Bn, CRPF organised a free Medical camp at Badshah Colony (Football ground), Sanat Nagar on 18/09/2023 from 0830 hrs to 1230 hrs.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Pradipta Kumar Sahu, Commandant-29 Bn in the presence of Shri Anil Kumar Jha, 2-IC, Shri Jitendra Kumar, 2-IC, Shri Chanchal Parwana, Dy. Commandant, Dr. Isma Maqsood, Dr. Salma nabi and Dr. Anjum Reshi and other Officers of the unit. In this Medical Camp a total of 175 patients were checked in OPD and distributed with free Medicines. The Medical Camp received an overwhelming response from the locality and from the adjoining areas. President Jamia Masjid, Goripora, Sanat Nagar Shri Abdul Rashid Alayee also graced the site and extended his help in helping the locals. This small effort of 29 Bn, CRPF has been widely appreciated by the locals. In the last, Shri Pradipta Kumar Sahu, Commandant-29 Bn, CRPF stated that it is a small step towards winning and healing the hearts of the locals and these type of programmes will be continued in future also.
