Baramulla, 25 Aug (CNI) :Baramula Police on friday booked 3 Notorious Drug Smugglers under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
As per the statement, Acting tough against drug peddlers and to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, baramulla Police booked 3 Most wanted & notorious drug smugglers under PIT-NDPS Act.
The statement reads that these notorious drug smugglers have been identified as Rouf Ahmad Wani Son of Nazir Ahmad Resident of Roshanabad Pinjoora Kunzer, Bashir Ahmad Malla Son of Abdul Razzaq Resident of Dhobiwan Kunzer & Farooq Ahmad Mir Son of Gh Mohiuddin Mir Resident of Zaspora Tangmarg have been booked after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
It is mentioned in statement that the booked drug smugglers have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail Jammu as many cases are registered against these drug Smugglers and were involved in promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth of Pinjoora, Kunzer, Dhobiwan, Zaspora, Tangmarg & other areas of District Baramulla.
Despite their involvement in many FIR’s they did not mend their activities and were again involved in promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth. (CNI)
