Acting tough against social crimes, Police in Baramulla arrested four gamblers and seized ₹4860 stake money from their possession at bangla bagh area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the statement, Police party of Police Station Baramulla on a specific information regarding presence of gamblers at Bangla Bagh Baramulla.
Acting upon the information Police Party of Police Station Baramulla led by Inspr Vilayat Hussain SHO PS Baramulla rushed towards the and on noticing the police party gamblers tried to flee from the spot but the alert police party chased them and we’re apprehended tactfully.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Abdul Rashid Rather S/O Abdul Qadir Rather R/O Khadniyar Bla,Bashir Ahmad Buhroo S/O Gh mohd Buhroo R/O Azad Gunj Bla, Nazir Ahmad Dar S/O Ab Rehman Dar, R/O Azad gunj & Gh Nabi Gojree S/O Late Sanaullah Gojree R/O Azad gunj.
Playing cards alongwith stake money of ₹ 4860/- were recovered from them.
Case under sections of 13 Gambling Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation taken up.(CNI)
