Srinagar, (CNI): Eight officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) have been inducted into the Indian Police Service (IPS), while the cases of three other officers have been kept under sealed cover.

Sources said five of the officers among those inducted are already holding posts in the rank equivalent to Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

The induction marks a significant development in the career progression of senior JKPS officers and is expected to further augment the senior leadership strength of the police cadre in Jammu and Kashmir. CNI NEWS
