Srinagar, , CNI: Security forces are set to carry out coordinated mock drills in several border districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat on Thursday, days after India reportedly launched Operation Sindoor, targeting militant infrastructure across the border in Pakistan.

According to reports, the upcoming drills are part of a heightened state of preparedness and will simulate emergency response scenarios near the international border.

This marks the first large-scale exercise of its kind since India’s historic military action following the 1971 war. (CNI)
