Jammu, 15 June (CNI) :Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be addressing an important security conclave in Jammu on June 26 while Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a mega rally here on June 23.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address booth-level workers across country including Jammu and Kashmir on June 27 via video conferencing.
Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri will be visiting Jammu on three days tour from June 16-18.
Puri will address public rallies at Udhampur, Kathua and Samba on June 16, 17 and 18 respectively.
He was in Jammu for two days last week.
Rajnath Singh will be on a day’s visit to Jammu on June 26, top BJP leaders told the Excelsior.
They said he will address a high-level security conclave being organized here by the BJP in which security experts, media personalities etc will participate. Rajnath will address the conclave and later interact with security experts, media persons and the BJP leaders.

This is first of its kind initiative by BJP J&K unit headed by Ravinder Raina which is holding security conclave and will provide an opportunity to the speakers to discuss security related issues of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Defence Minister had visited Rajouri on May 6 a day after terror attack in Kandi area in which five bravehearts of Army had sacrificed their lives. Prior to Kandi attack, five soldiers were martyred at Mendhar in Poonch district on April 20.
Dhangri attack in Rajouri district on January 1 also remained unsolved so far. Seven civilians were massacred by the militants in this attack.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the people right up to booth level on June 27 across the country in Jammu and Kashmir as part of BJP’s ‘Maha Samparak Abhiyan’ on the completion of 9 years of the Government at the Centre.
Modi will address people through video conferencing at nearly 7500 polling booths in Jammu and Kashmir and a total of 10 lakh booths across the country.
His address from New Delhi will be streamed live at about 5200 polling booths in Jammu region and around 2300 in Kashmir division, the party leaders said, adding this is for the first time that the Prime Minister will directly address the people at booth levels in J&K.

As per the party leaders, the Prime Minister will address the people at nearly 10 lakh booths across the country on June 27. This is being seen as the biggest ever exercise by the BJP and could well be start of election campaign by the party for 2024 Parliamentary elections.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a mega rally here on June 23, the martyrdom day of RSS ideologue Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who sacrificed his life for ‘Ek Vidhan, Ek Pradhan, Ek Nishan’ (One constitution, One head and One symbol) in Kashmir in 1953.
BJP UT unit held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Ravinder Raina, president and discussed arrangements for the rally.
The rally is likely to be organized at Bhagwati Nagar ground where earlier also Shah had addressed a massive public meeting.
Sources said Shah could also visit Srinagar before or after addressing the BJP’s mega rally to review security situation in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji in South Kashmir Himalayas beginning July 1 and lasting 62 days till August 31.
The Home Minister had last Friday reviewed Shri Amarnath yatra arrangements in New Delhi with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and top officers of MHA, Army, paramilitary forces, Intelligence agencies and civil and police administration of Jammu and Kashmir.

Besides yatra security, Shah could also review militancy related situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the meeting to discuss preparations for Shah’s mega rally, Ravinder Raina said the rallies are being organized in each Parliamentary constituency. He said that leaders and activities of the BJP will have to devote more and more time to mobilize the public to come to the rally and listen views of Amit Shah.
