Amidst the comfort of a nation that extends free ration and relief to millions, a community languishes in neglect. ,but Kashmiri migrants, uprooted from their homes in the valley under threat to their lives, now face dire financial turmoil in Delhi and NCR. Their only lifeline, the monthly relief promised by the central government, has been inexplicably withheld for the past three to four months.
This delay strikes at the heart of their existence. It jeopardizes the education of their children, denies them access to essential medicines for their ailing parents, and pushes them to the brink of starvation. These families, solely dependent on this relief, now find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival.
The Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) urgently appeals to the Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to intervene personally in this humanitarian crisis. The release of the pending monthly relief is not merely a bureaucratic issue; it is a matter of sustenance and dignity for hundreds of KP migrant families. Without this support, they are unable to secure even the basic necessities of life.
Despite of repeated pleas by some other KP organizations,no heed was given towards this grave issues so for.
It is disheartening that while the nation extends its largesse to millions, those who have been forcibly displaced from their homes face such neglect. We urge immediate action to ensure that these families receive their entitled relief without further delay. The Lt. Governor’s intervention can make a significant difference in restoring hope and stability to these vulnerable lives.
Letter on this urgent issue has been submitted / Sent today to Lt.Governor, Delhi and Divisinal Commissioner,( Revenue) New Delhi and others for immediate necessary action.CNI
