As first batch arrives in Srinagar, Hajj pilgrims complain about poor arrangements in Saudi Arabia

The first batch of Hajj pilgrims of Jammu & Kashmir arrived in Srinagar on Tuesday as the Hajj pilgrimage concluded.

Officials said that around 630 pilgrims arrived today after performimg Hajj. They said that the return of pilgrims started on 18tj July and will continue till the last batch arrives on 2nd August.

They further said that the authorities have already made arrangements regarding various issues relating to the arrival of Hajj flights.

However, as per news agency Current News of India-CNI, many pilgrims who arrived at Srinagar airport on Tuesday alleged that arrangements in Saudi by concerned authorities were not satisfactory.

“There were no good arrangements,” a female pilgrim alleged, adding that this caused them facing difficulties.

Another pilgrim alleged that the water and unhygienic washrooms were big issues they faced.(CNI)
