Bandipora:(CNI) In a decisive move to prevent unrest, Bandipora authorities have intervened in a land dispute involving a 7-Kanal and 13-Marla plot in Binlipora, Tehsil Aloosa. The disputed land, identified under Survey No. 902, has become a source of conflict between two parties, with concerns that the situation could disrupt public peace.
As per reports from the Police Department and Tehsildar Aloosa, the Magistrate has issued an order under Section 164 of BNSS 2023, temporarily placing the land under the custody of Tehsildar Aloosa. The order strictly prohibits any individual from entering, possessing, or utilizing the disputed property until further notice.
Details obtained from the news agency Current News of India (CNI) state that the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bandipora Police Station has been instructed to enforce the order and ensure compliance.
Additionally, all parties involved have been directed to appear before the Magistrate on January 20, 2025, for further proceedings. The order will remain in effect until the dispute is resolved, with any violation subject to legal action under applicable laws.
