Baramulla, 24 June (CNI): Baramulla Police in run up to “International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit trafficking” conducted Painting, Debate & Skit Competition at District Police Lines Baramulla.
Baramulla Police in run up to “International Day against Drug abuse and illicit Trafficking” conducted Painting, Debate & Skit Competition among students of different educational institutions at District Police Lines Baramulla under the supervision of Ms.Divya D-IPS, SP Hqrs Baramulla with the assistance of Sh. Altaf Ahmad Khan-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla & Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla.
The aim of the conducting competition among students to create awareness to the youth as well as society to stay away from drugs & about the ill effects of the drug abuse .
On the occasion, SP Hqrs Baramulla advised the parents & teachers to pay keen attention towards the behaviour of their children & not to put any psychological pressure upon them which could attract them towards drug menace. They also advised youth to take part in sports activities besides excelling in their academics for proper channelization of their energy.
