Sep, 19, 2023 CNI News: The BCCI announced on Tuesday that superstar Rajinikanth will ‘grace’ the ICC World Cup next month as a “distinguished guest,” while also giving him the Golden Ticket that grants him unrestricted access during the multi-nation competition.
The top talent was given the Golden Ticket by BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah, the organisation announced on its X feed while uploading a snapshot of the two.

The main event will kick off in Ahmedabad on October 5 with a matchup between the winners of the 2019 edition, England, and New Zealand.
The BCCI uses the golden tickets as a marketing gimmick for the grand event it is hosting, giving the winners special treatment at World Cup games.
