BJP is playing seek and hide and confusing the Kashmiri Pandit voters in valley—- KPC

The ongoing parliamentary elections in the Kashmir valley have presented a perplexing situation for Kashmiri Pandit voters. Despite the absence of BJP candidates in the valley, BJP activists, supporters, and affiliated groups have been fervently encouraging displaced Kashmiri Pandits to either make or transfer their votes to constituencies in Kashmir. This has left many KP voters puzzled about the underlying motive behind BJP’s insistence on their participation, especially when the party itself is not contesting in the valley.

This dilemma has put KP voters in a difficult position. On one hand, they are being urged to participate in the electoral process in Kashmir, while on the other hand, they find it challenging to support other Kashmir centric political parties contesting in the valley, many of which were involved and responsible for the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits.

.This raises questions about the intentions of BJP, particularly its unit in Jammu and Kashmir, in engaging KP voters. What is the rationale behind urging KP voters to participate in constituencies where BJP itself is not contesting? And why are BJP and its allied groups seemingly playing a game of hide-and-seek with the sentiments of a victimized community, it doubts some thing fishy and seems to transfer these Kashmiri Pandit votes to their choice allies in Kashmir valley with out asking KP voters or against their choice.

KP voters registered in the Kashmir valley are eagerly seeking answers amidst this confusing situation. They are calling for clarity and accountability from political entities and allied groups within the Kashmiri Pandit community. It is crucial for BJP to address these concerns and provide the necessary clarity to KP voters, who deserve transparency and respect for their democratic rights.CNI
