Srinagar, April 08 (CNI): PDP president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that the BJP is trying its best to keep me away from Parliament. He said that I have always stood by him in difficult times and I hope he will cast his vote in favor of PDP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to reporters at Bijbahara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag, Mehbooba said that the BJP, which is bent on damaging every institution in Jammu and Kashmir, is using all its tactics to keep me away from Parliament. . According to news agency Current News Of India CNI, Mehbooba Mufti while speaking to reporters after visiting late Mufti Muhammad Saeed’s grave, “BJP is using all its strength and resources to keep me away from Parliament. “South Kashmir is my homeland and Bijbehara is my native place. My father’s grave is also here, whenever I face any problem, I come here and recite Fatiha. I started my political career in 1996. When my late father Mufti Mohammad Saeed was also there. Today in his absence many challenges have come up after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A),” said Mehbooba.
To a question, he replied that people are my hope and I hope they will come in large numbers in favor of PDP. He said that in South Kashmir or Pir Panchal region, she always stood by her people in difficult times. Today our tribal community is going through tough times, but I hope they will not let me down.
Mehbooba added, “After August 5, 2019, the present government used every means to break the PDP which is the credible voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, always raising the genuine concerns of the people before the corridors of power today The ruling class feels that if Mehbooba reaches the Mufti.
