Srinagar, Sep 13 CNI: Manzoor Bhat, a prominent youth leader and Media Incharge for the BJP J&K expressed profound sadness and condemnation over the tragic incident that occurred today in Rajouri and Anantnag district.
He said, “Due to the successful completion of the G20 Summit in Bharat with the participation of global leaders, Pakistan is displaying signs of frustration and resorting to these attacks. Their intent is to disrupt public peace here, but we are resolute that their efforts will not succeed. Our dedicated Paramilitary Soldiers and J&K Police are exerting relentless efforts to enhance the situation and effectively counter Pakistan’s propaganda.”
“The BJP Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is diligently working to counteract Pakistan’s propaganda and foster greater peace in Kashmir, and our endeavors are yielding positive results.” Bhat further said.
An army soldier and an J&K Police SPO lost their lives in a gunfight, and despite facing challenging weather and terrain, the security forces successfully neutralized the second terrorist involved. Bhat said, “This incident is a grave reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in the line of duty.”
Tragically, one soldier from 63 RR and an J&K Police SPO lost their lives in the line of duty, and even an Army dog bravely laid down its life during the operation.
In another unfortunate development on the same day, officers of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir police were injured during an encounter that broke out in Gadool hamlet of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, as reported by the police. Bhat, deeply concerned by this additional incident, unequivocally condemned the violence and expressed his sympathies for the injured officers.
Manzoor Bhat assured that operations are ongoing to maintain peace and security in the region. His thoughts and condolences are with the families of the fallen soldiers during this difficult time.
