‘Board Exams Will Be Conducted Twice A Year’

The Ministry of Education has said that now the board exams will be conducted twice a year. Apart from this, students in class 11th and 12th will be required to study two languages.

According to the CNI Monitoring Desk, the Center announced major changes in the education system as per the New Education Policy (NEP) and said that textbooks will be prepared for the 2024 academic session.

The new curriculum framework was announced by the Ministry of Education.

Under the new curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education, the board exams will be conducted twice a year.

Under the education ministry’s new curriculum framework, the board exams will assess students’ understanding and skill level against months of coaching and rote learning.

Also, students of class 11 and 12 will have to study two languages, at least one of which should be Indian.

The current practice of ‘covering’ textbooks in classes will be avoided. The Ministry of Education said that the prices of textbooks will be reduced.(CNI)
