Baramulla, 10 July (CNI) : Baramulla Police have solved a burglary case by arresting a accused person involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property worth 1.5 lacs of rupees.
In a press release issued here to News-agency Current News, reads that On 02/07/2023 Police Station Baramulla received a written complaint from one Zahoor Ahmad Bazi S/O Lt Gh Mohammad R/O Mohalla Syed Kareem Baramulla stating therein that during intervening nights of 1 & 2 July 2023 some unknown burglars barged into his mobile shop and stolen mobile phones.
To this effect Police Station Baramulla registered Case FIR under relevant sections of law and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, among them Showkat Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Hassan Bhat R/O Mir Sahib Old Town Baramulla were identified and were called for questioning.
After thorough interrogation, he confessed that he has committed theft and upon his disclosure, stolen mobile phones worth 1.5 lacs was recovered from his possession and was taken into custody immediately.(CNI)
