Burglary Case Solved In Palhallan Pattan,Stolen Property Recovered : Police

Pattan, 26 March (CNI) : Pattan Police on Sunday said that it has solved burglary case by arresting the burglars and recovered stolen property from his possession in Tantraypora Palhallan Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A Police spokesperson said that On 25th March, 2023 Police Post Palhallan received a complaint from one Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh S/O Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh resident of Tantraypora Palhallan Pattan stating therein that during intervening nights of 24th & 25th March-2023, some unknown burglars entered into his residential house and stole copper utensils.

To this effect Police Station Pattan registered Case FIR under relevant sections of law and investigation was started, Investigating team led by DO Palhallan Sub insp. Aaeraf Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Pattan Nawaz Ahmad after hectic efforts zeroed on some suspects.

During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, one of them namely Khursheed Ahmad Waza S/O Ghulam Mohd Waza R/O Tantraypora Palhallan was identified and was called for questioning.

After thorough interrogation he confessed that he alongwith other accomplice namely Tanveer Ahmad Reshi S/O Ghulam Mohd Reshi R/O New Colony Palpora Pattan has committed theft and upon their disclosure, all stolen property was recovered from their possession and they were taken into custody immediately.(CNI)
