Pattan Police on thursday said that it has solved burglary case by arresting the burglar and recovered stolen property from his possession in Wailoo Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A Police spokesperson said that On 15 July, 2023 Police Station Pattan received a complaint from one Farooq Ahmad Bhat Son of Ab Jabbar Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan stating therein that some unknown burglars entered his Kiryana Shop situated at Wailoo Pattan on 23/06/2023 when he kept his shop locked during Friday prayers and stole Edible oil & other Kiryana items.
Accordingly Police Station Pattan registered Case FIR number 232/2023 under relevant sections of law and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, and finally with the help of CCTV footage burglar namely *Sajad Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Ramzan Bhat resident of Wailoo Pattan was identified and was called for questioning. After thorough interrogation he confessed the commission of crime, who was arrested immediately in the instant case.
On his disclosure all stolen property edible oil & Kiryana property was recovered from his possession.(CNI)
