Delhi:(CNI): The government slashed the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 30 on Monday. As such, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder stood at Rs 1,646, effective July 01, 2024.
A month earlier on June 1, 2024, the oil marketing companies reduced the prices of the commercial LPG cylinder of 19 kg by Rs 69 per cylinder. The recent cutdown in prices marked the fourth consecutive monthly reduction.
Earlier on May 1, the officials reduced the price of the 19 kg LPG cylinder by Rs 19 per cylinder, while the price drop was Rs 30.5 per cylinder on April 1, 2024.
After the latest revision, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder now stands at Rs 1,757 per cylinder in Kolkata. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,599 per piece, while in Chennai, the price of the commercial LPG cylinder will now be Rs 1,810.50 apiece.(CNI)
