Conservator of Forests South Circle inspects Forest Campus, Bijbehara

Bijbehara: The Conservator of Forests South Circle Irfan Ali Shah,IFS  inspected Forest campus Bijbehara. He was accompanied by DFOs,Range Officers, Forest Protection Force personnel,Forest office staff and other forest officials.

The CoF inspected Central Nursery, Bijbehara and gave directions for introducing Root Trainer Technology and Mist Chamber based propogation here. He emphasized on development of Nursery Interpretation Centre , Vermicompost unit and for developing it as a Biodiversity propogation centre by introducing diverse species of different plants.

He inspected ongoing works of Range office Bijbehara and directed for its completion by year end. He directed Range officer Bijbehara to complete macdamisation works inside campus within fifteen days.He further directed for repair and renovations of Forest Check Post Bijbehara and for installation of CCTVs there.

He also  inspected Forest Control Room  Bijbehara and Forest Protection Force Lidder Reporting Centre and  did on the spot review of their working.He directed for setting up night nakas and enhanced surveillance especially on vulnerable routes in Bijbehara Range.

The CoF also visited Wildlife Centre, Bijbehara where he reviewed operational preparadness for any kind of man animal conflict situation arising in future and expressed satisfaction upon the level of preparadness.

He also directed for construction of Forest Meeting Hall and State of the Art Nature Interpretation Centre in the campus. He further directed officials for beautification of the campus by way of planting,lighting and renovations wherever required.
