Banihal, 03 Sep (CNI): A Jawan of Central Reserve of Police Force(CRPF) ends life by shooting self with his service rifle in Banihal area of Ramban district on Sunday morning.
Reports reaching News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that the CRPF jawan (name withheld) from Bihar, posted for security of Banihal-Qazigund Nayvug tunnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle.
A police official told CNI that the proceedings have been launched into the incident, however it was not immediately known what made the CRPF personnel take the extreme step, he adds. (CNI)
