A CRPF personnel was killed in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district due to gunshot injuries, Police officials said.
According to reports the gunshots were heard at around 1.55 a.m near SAIL Chersoo, area of Pulwama district.
Officials said that “After assessing everything a Jawan of 112 BN CRPF namely Ct/Sepoy Ajay Kumar was found dead in the pool of blood.”
“Medico-legal formalities were completed and inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated.”
They said that the “apparent cause of death is suicide.” Adding the investigation has started and everything will be revealed during the investigation.(CNI)
