Baramulla, 29 May (CNI) : The decades long wait of the Shrakwara Baramula people came to an end on monday when DDC Chairperson of Baramulla, Safina Baig kick-started macadamization work on the Shrakwara road.
As per the news agency-Current News of India (CNI) the Chairperson of District Development Council Baramulla, Safina Baig kick-started macadamization work on the Shrakwara road and grants 35.lac for construction of new school buliding, during her visit to Shrakwara Baramulla on monday.
This road used to be really terrible earlier ,DDC Chairperson Baramulla, Safina Baig Macadamized the road, giving relief to locals and commuters, everyone had breathe a sign of relief, as the road was in dilapidated conditions since years,said residents of Shrakwara.
Safina Baig assured the people that all their genuine issues would be taken into consideration in a time-bound manner and that regular feedback would be taken from concerned departments regarding the redressal of genuine issues pertaining to their departments.
The demands which could not be redressed at the district level would be forwarded to the higher authorities for redressal, she adds.
Senior citizens of the village thanked DDC Chairperson, Safina Baig for taking the issue seriously in very short time.
Notably, People thank Social Activist Lone Aijaz for remaining on toes to highlight the genuine grievances of the village with concerned department and residents expressed gratitude towards Safina Baig for fulfilling their long-pending demand.(CNI)
