Pattan, 07 May (CNI): Chairperson of the District Development Council Baramulla on Sunday addressed a one-day public convention at Rasraypora Pattan area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per the news agency-Current News of India (CNI), The Chairperson of District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safina Baig while addressing the Convention, said that engagement of the youth can lead to development, our youth can bring social reform and improvement in society.
“Youth holds the key for the advancement in society and also for the entire country to an extent. Youth must be encouraged and given access to excellent health, training, and education if they are to be effective leaders, inventors, and innovators who can change society, ” she added.
Youth contribute equally to the achievement of sustainability and development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the future, balancing economic growth, environmental concerns and social well-being.
Safina Baig added that this area has been facing many issues for a long now and she vouches that all these issues will be redressed in time- a bound manner.
Meanwhile, scores of youths, and senior citizens of the area among other people participated in the Convention and thanked DDC Chairperson Safina Baig for being always available for any emergencies in the area and for development works done in the area. (CNI)
