New Delhi: (CNI) A court here on Thursday extended Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Enforcement Directorate custody till April 1 in the excise policy case.

The agency had sought the AAP chief’s seven-day custody, but the court said he was to be produced in court on April 1 at 11 am.

The ED produced him before special judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue court as his current custody was ending on Thursday.

During his custodial interrogation, his statements were recorded over five days and he was giving “fragile answers”, the ED said in its fresh remand application.

He said that statements of three other persons have also been recorded during remand. (CNI)
