Dehli:(CNI) Renowned economist Prakala Prabhakar, husband of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, has predicted that the electoral bond controversy will hit the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hard.
Speaking to Reporter TV, Prabhakar said, “The Electoral Bond issue will escalate, gaining attention as one of the biggest scams globally not just India. It’s the biggest in the world. Fraud Because of this issue, this government will face severe consequences from the voters.
According to data on the official website of the Election Commission of India, the BJP emerged as the main beneficiary of electoral bonds, receiving Rs 6,986.5 crore between April 12, 2019 and February 15, 2024.
