Says NC Patron’s double speak a betrayal of Kashmiri sentiments

JAMMU, CNI: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today came down heavily on National Conference patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah following shocking revelations made by former RAW Chief A.S Dulat in his new book, claiming that Abdullah had privately supported the abrogation of Article 370 and had even expressed willingness to “help” if taken into confidence.

Reacting to the development, the BJP stalwart said that the mask of political deception worn by the National Conference for decades has finally slipped. “Dulat’s account exposes the monumental hypocrisy of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and the NC leadership. While they publicly cried betrayal, they were secretly aligned with the Modi Government’s historic decision. This is a betrayal not just of the Constitution but of the trust of the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” he asserted.
