Baramulla, 01 May (CNI) : In order to ensure the quality and price control besides keeping vigil on erring traders, a market checking team of Flying Squad Enforcement Wing FCS&CA Baramulla today conducted a massive Market Checking at various locations of sopore town.
As per the news agency-Current News of India (CNI) Flying Squads of Enforcement Wing FCS&CA Baramullla under Command TSO Sopore(A) Shabir Khan along with their officials conducted intensive market checking at Wadoora, Model town and adjacent areas of Sopore including Petrol pumps, during the market checking many rotten fruits,vegetables and expired items were destroyed onspot.
The market checking drives has been started across the district on regular basis following complaints pouring in from different sections of the society regarding illegal enhancement of rates by the shopkeepers dealing with different consumable items.
The Checking team also warned all the stockholders to display rate lists and remain cautious for future, if any stockholder found violating the government rules will be sealed onspot and FIR will be also lodged against the defaulters, moreover an amount of Rs 5100/- fine was recovered onspot from many defaulters.(CNI)
