In the Reshipora neighbourhood of Awantipora in south Kashmir, a girl was struck by a dumper on Tuesday and died there, according to officials.
Adeeba Arshid, the daughter of Arshid Ahmad Shiekh R/O Reshipora, was hit by a dumper with the registration number JK011AE 3177 in Reshipora, Awantipora, according reports. She quickly succumbed to her injuries and passed away on the scene.
Reports claim that the dumper had been impounded and the driver had been detained. The police have now taken notice of the incident and have opened an investigation.
