Govt appoints joint commr JMC IO to conduct inquiry against then AEO, EI

Srinagar, (CNI):-The Commissioner Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD) Mandeep Kaur today appointed Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Joint Commissioner (R&E), Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), as Inquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth inquiry against a former Assistant Enforcement Officer (AEO) and Enforcement Inspector (EI).

 

“In terms of Rule 33(4) of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, JKAS, Joint Commissioner (R&E), Jammu Municipal Corporation, as Inquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth enquiry into the charges levelled against Shri Kamini Kesar, the then Assistant Enforcement Officer and Shri Naresh Kumar, the then Enforcement Inspector, Jammu Municipal Corporation (Veri-JMU-45/2010).” Reads the order a copy of which lies with News Agency Kashmir Scroll.

 

“Shri Chand Singh, JKAS, Secretary, Jammu Municipal Corporation, shall be the Presenting Officer in the case.” It reads.

 

“The Inquiry Officer shall submit the report within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this order,” it states further.(CNI)
