Addressing a press conference here today at party office Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) General Secretary & Former Minister J&K GH Nabi Lone Hanjura lambasted administration over continued dictates which are against public interests.

He said that the recent directive which had barred employees to raise any voice for redressal of their genuine issues seems the government is quite scared of , to be exposed publically about its failures. Lone said that the employees are being denied their basic rights, they are made to wait for long for withdrawal of GP funds , salaries are withdrawn late and many more.
The daily wagers are waiting for regularisation. but instead addressing their issues government is making pressure tactics to supress their genuine voices, the government neither pays them as per minimum wage act nor regularise their services, he said.

Lone also blamed that the Government is mulling to change various decisions taken by previous governments which were taken in the public interest line scrapping of “Abiyana” on Farmers during 2015 which was collected from them and even policy of Market intervention Scheme introduced during 2015 in Horticulture sector too has been stopped by LG administration.

He also lambasted the LG administration over increased power tariff on daily basis without making efforts to ensure adequate power supply to consumers. He said that the unscheduled and frequent power cuts have created much havoc in daily routine of a common man here in J&K. patients, students and even house holds are suffering badly due this unscheduled power cuts in this harash winter days.

He said that while other states are providing free electricity to their people but here in J&K LG Administration is busy in installing smart meters to further burden the common citizens with huge charges without proper supply of electricity. He also said that the honorarium of nambardars has been withheld by the government.

Lone while commenting on recruitments said that LG administration is making large claims of transparency in recruitments but it is exposed by it self as the corruption & scams are at large in these days . whether its is scam in PSI, Finance and even recently held PSC recruitment too has exposed the efficiency of LG administration. “One can understand itself that if there is clear transparency in recent recruitment then why the student leaders have been kept under preventive custody.

This clearly indicates that LG administration is scared to be exposed by itself due to their suppressive and forcible policies”, Lone added.

Lone expressed his anguish over the delay in State Assembly , ULB and Panchayat elections and said that the LG Administration under BJP rule is scared to face public due to their failures and this is the reason that they defer elections deliberately. (CNI) Current News of India
