Srinagar, 07 Sep (CNI): A Two-storey residential house was partially gutted in a devastating fire incident in HMT area in the outskirts of Srinagar on Thursday afternoon.
Official sources told News-agency Current News of India that a two-storey house damaged in a fire incident that broke out on thursday afternoon in HMT locality of srinagar district.
Soon after noticing the flames, local neighbors rushed out their houses and called fire and emergency department.
In the meantime, fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames with the help of locals and Jammu and Kashmir Police but couldn’t save the property worth lakhs of rupees .
An official also confirmed this fire mishap and said that the residential house damaged in fire incident, the cause of fire was not known immediately,he adds. (CNI)
