A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in the Mendhar neighbourhood of the Poonch district.
Media reports suggest that a woman named Gazanfar Bi (55), a resident of Ari and the wife of Mohammad Khalil, was discovered in a pool of blood at her home today.
They claimed that her spouse had allegedly hit her on the head with a hammer.
According to them, “a police team arrived at the scene and transported the body to a nearby hospital.”
The accused has been taken into custody along with the offending weapon, and that a case has also been opened for further investigation.
